Meetings re regulations for Short-term Rentals

City Staff is holding two community meetings regarding the short-term rental market, issues, and potential regulations.

“The short-term rental market has experienced substantial growth due to the launch of online hosting platforms such as Airbnb, HomeAway, BRBO, and others.  While these platforms offer greater options for visitors and homeowners, the City is seeking public input on regulations for short-term rentals.”

The first half-hour will be a presentation by City Staff.
Then there will be an “open house” where you can talk one-on-one with City staff.

City staff will make a presentation to the City Council’s EdTech Committee in early 2017.  That Committee will then decide what to recommend to the full City Council.
