The meeting began about 11:30 am
- Resurfacing of Sierra Madre Villa
- Sierra Madre Villa Ave from Foothill Blvd to Orange Grove Blvd is to be repaved sometime between March and June of this year.
- The City Council approved awarding the contract that includes this project on January 9.
- It is described as being 2810 feet in length and 51 feet wide.
- 2017 Mayor’s State of the City on Jan 18
- The Mayor’s annual State of the City address will be:
- January 18, 7 p.m.
Washington STEAM Magnet Academy Gymnasium

- January 18, 7 p.m.
- Free parking is available on campus. Enter on Penn Street.
- Doors open at 6:30 pm after a ribbon cutting for the new gymnasium
- The Mayor’s annual State of the City address will be:

- It is time to start planning for our annual paper newsletter in February.
- Topics to cover?
- Space Bank development (hopefully will have new information, such as EIR starting, by then)
- Avon site (hopefully will have info by then about sale, or not)
- for filling space: important city phone numbers, delayed trash service dates, …
- Sharon has volunteered to assist with editing again.
- Printing. Need to check whether city Neighborhood Connections office will still do the printing
- Will need volunteers again for distribution throughout the neighborhood in late February.

- Thurs Jan 5, 8:13 pm, 600 block Sierra Madre Villa Ave, Malicious Mischief Vandalism
- Thurs Jan 5, 9:20 pm, 3100 block E Orange Grove Blvd, Grand Theft
- Although none in our neighborhood, there seem to be a lot more then usual daytime residential burglaries reported in other areas of East Pasadena.
